Frequently asked questions

Which English style does the tool use?
American style, without "and": 105 becomes "one hundred five". If your document follows British style, add "and" before the last two digits yourself, for example "one hundred and five".
Why does the result end with "dong"?
The tool is built for Vietnamese dong amounts, so every result ends with "dong". Replace it with your document's currency after copying if needed.
Can I get the amount in Vietnamese words?
Yes — switch the site to Vietnamese. The Vietnamese version follows accounting-document conventions such as "linh" or "lẻ" for a zero in the tens place and "không trăm" in middle groups.
Does it handle cents or decimal amounts?
No. The tool converts whole numbers only, from 0 to 999,999,999,999,999 — decimals and cents are not supported.
